1.28 Let this composition/lotus bloom.....

sloka 28

रसिकालिभिः आस्वाद्यं रम्यं श्रीकर विलसदलंकरणम्

विकसतु सूर्यालोकात् पद्यसहस्र पत्रमिव

rasikālibhiḥ āsvādyaṁ ramyaṁ śrīkara vilasadalaṁkaraṇam

vikasatu sūryālokāt padyasahasra patramiva

ரஸிகாலிபி₄: ஆஸ்வாத்₃யம் ரம்யம் ஸ்ரீகர விலஸத₃லங்கரணம்

விகஸது ஸூர்யாலோகாத் பத்₃யசஹஸ்ர பத்ரமிவ

(the same words are applicable for both the lotus and this composition)

Meaning: (for lotus) Let that which is worth tasting by thousands of bees, that which remains as a valuable ornament on Lakshmi’s hand, that which opens with the rays of the sun, bloom. 

(for the composition): Let that which is worthy to be enjoyed by thousands of poets, that which grants all the riches to those who read it, that which contains all the alankara, that which will be well-examined by the experts, bloom now like the lotus.

(தாமரைக்கு) ஆயிரம் வண்டுகள் சுவைக்க ஏற்றதும், லக்ஷ்மி தேவியின் கையில் ஆபரணத்தைப் போல விளங்குவதும் சூரியனின் கிரணங்களால் மலருவதுமான இத்தாமரை விகசிக்கட்டும்.

(பாடலுக்கு) ரசிகர்களான புலவர் கூட்டத்தால் அனுபவிக்கத் தகுந்ததும் எல்லா செல்வங்களையும் அருளுவதும், பலவித சொல் அலங்காரங்களைக் கொண்டதுமான இவ்வாயிரம் பத்யங்கள், பல அறிஞர்களால் ஆராய்ந்து அனுபவிக்க தாமரையைப் போல மலரட்டும்.

इन्यातेय रघुनाथ दीक्षित विरचित लक्ष्मी सहस्रे प्रारम्भ स्तबकः समाप्तः

inyāteya raghunātha dīkṣita viracita lakṣmī sahasre prārambha stabakaḥ samāptaḥ
